MAHIRA KHAN OR MEHWISH HAYAT; WHO'S GONNA BE THE CINEMA QUEEN THIS EID?


In Pakistan, Eid doesn't just bring festivity and happiness but also opportunity to see our stars on the big screen. Pandemic took that from us but with Covid-19 over from Pakistan, Alhamdulillah, comes big Eid with big films. Yeah you heard it right. Our big stars; Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, Kubra Khan, Fahad Mustafa and many others are coming to your big screens with 2 big films this Eid and their trailers have finally released so lets talk on how we perceived them. 


QUAID-E-AZAM ZINDABAD

After 3 years of wait, the action-romance packed film, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad finally released their trailer and we can not control ourselves from saying, WOW!!!     In the main leads we have our superstar Mahira Khan with Fahad Mustafa and we're rooting for the pair. Both Mahira and Fahad tried to do a couple of films together like "7 Din Mohabbat In" and "Superstar" but because of several reasons they couldn't. 

QAZ brings an end to that wait as Nabeel Qureshi has successfully brought them together. And when stars are in hands of Nabeel, we can not worry as Nabeel not only gives big commercial films with excellent direction but also there is always a hidden message. 

Mahira in the film is playing the role of a middle age vet and the trailer showed her all-glam looks and we honestly can't wait to see her dance moves especially after her dance numbers in "Superstar" and "Raees". Fahad is playing the role of a cop who gives us all singham vibes. The film is shown to revolve around the topic of corruption and how Mahira helps Fahad open his eyes and realize Quaid's vision. 


LONDON NAHI JAUNGA 

The star-studded trailer of London Nahi Jaunga also just released ensuring us that our Eid-ul-Adha will be full of flavors. The USP of the film is that it's directed by Lollywood's biggest director, Nadeem Baig who has given us big commercial films like "Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2" and "Punjab Nahi Jaungi". Moreover, from the trailer we can tell how much we were missing Khalil-ur-Rehman's writing and his deep dialogues hit us hard. 

The film stars Humayun Saeed, Kubra Khan, and Mehwish Hayat who bring us this big screen film with amazing cast, songs, glamour and great locations as the film has been shot in Pakistan, Turkey, and London. The trailer shows Humayun Saeed stuck in a promise of not going to London after making commitment with Kubra Khan but soon realizes his love for Mehwish Hayat who lives in London. 

Al though the story does seem similar to "Punjab Nahi Jaungi" and since the cast is also almost same, we do get the same vibes and wish Mehwish was replaced by someone else like Mahira Khan or Saba Qamar. But none the less we're really excited for the film as Humayun and Nadeem duo has never failed to impress us.


Also we're glad Lollywood is coming to its revival again and this two big commercial films were much needed to bring people back to cinema. Let us know in the comments below, which film are you going to watch first!
