The Flash Franchise In Jeopardy

 

Recent Developments

It seems as though DC’s major franchise “The Flash” could be at risk. Ezra Miller, who played the character has been the subject of much controversy these past few weeks. In latest headlines, Miller turned up at a family’s house unexpectedly and it is alleged that they had certain conversations which went sideways and subsequently Miller took off his shirt and revealed a bullet proof vest and a gun. Afterwards, he said, 

“I’ve talked extensively with your child, and they have a lot of power to them. At one point, you’re going to realize that you don’t have any control over them anymore. They’re an elevated being, and they would be lucky to have someone like *me* guide them.”

Later, Miller returned and subsequently started touching the twelve-year old child on their hips in the presence of their mother. The child remembers,

“They automatically were just weirdly drawn to me and kept talking about how they love my outfit and love my style, and kept going on and on about how it was great,” the child remembers. “It was really uncomfortable. I was really nervous. I was scared to be around them after he’d yelled at my mother and she was crying.”

 

The Build Up

Earlier this month on June 8^th, the parents of eighteen-year old activist Takota Iron Eyes requested a restraining order on her behalf on account of Miller having used violence, threats, intimidation, delusions and drugs including LSD and Cannabis in order to keep Takota enchanted. Takota, who is 11 years younger than Miller had over the years made cross continental journeys in order to meet Ezra Miller on set of various movies. Under the charm of Ezra Miller, Iron Eyes had dropped out of school in 2021 to follow them. Further accusations by Iron Eyes’s parents involved Miller having caused bruises on her body and having mistakenly labelled Takota as transgender. Though Iron Eyes denied these claims by their parents, there were concerns about law enforcement agencies’ inability to locate Miller in order to serve the family a restraining order. Subsequently, Miller mocked authorities in their Instagram posts for their inability find him which they later deleted.

The Woes of Warner Bros.

What worries the Warner Bros. even more are accounts of Miller’s actions in the past. On April 20, Miller was charged with 2^nd degree assault having flung a chair at a woman’s forehead and assaulting a man at a karaoke bar at a private residence in Hawaii. In late March, Miller got arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment when he caused an altercation at a karaoke bar by snatching a mic from a woman and lunging at a man playing darts. During March, there was a significant amount of phone calls made to the police that complained of Ezra Miller’s misdemeanors which included filming people without their consent, refusing to leave restaurants’ sidewalks and getting into arguments with people.

Miller also stormed the bedroom of a couple who had petitioned against them at a court. The male victim accused Miller of saying the following, “I will bury you and your slut wife.” They further alleged that Miller stole certain belongings that included passports and wallets. It was two weeks later that the charges were dropped by the couple for an unknown reason.

The Fate of the Franchise

Representatives at Warner Bros. also recall Ezra Miller having many breakdowns on the set of Flash and in addition to his fading reputation, it seems highly likely that they would have to terminate their contract with Miller.
