Jurassic World Dominion
Review: -
Jurassic World Dominion has been called as the pinnacle of the Jurassic Park franchise, but is it a suitable conclusion? Jurassic World Dominion concludes the Jurassic Park sequel trilogy in an appropriately over-the-top and entertaining manner, even if it ultimately fails to take the series in a novel new path. Dinosaurs now dwell and hunt with humans all throughout the earth in Jurassic World Dominion. This precarious equilibrium will redefine the future and determine whether humans will remain the dominant predators on a planet they now share with history's most terrifying monsters.
As someone who enjoyed the first two Jurassic World films, as well as the three original Jurassic Park films, it's safe to say that my anticipation for Jurassic World Dominion was high as I walked into the theatre. Now that I've watched the movie and had time to process all that happened, I have to say that this is perhaps my favorite of the trilogy!
There's no doubting that Jurassic World Dominion has issues, the most obvious of which being the repetitious and clichéd narrative, but the picture delivers where it matters. Director Colin Trevorrow throws everything into the wall in the last instalment of the sequel trilogy, resulting in a wildly over-the-top, shockingly terrifying, and unquestionably entertaining movie.

Since the original Jurassic Park film was released in 1993, the franchise has become a dependable source for some of the largest and wildest action moments ever placed on screen - and I can now affirm that Jurassic World Dominion is the series' biggest and most bombastic picture. Jurassic World Dominion is packed with incredibly entertaining and dangerous action sequences, including an adrenaline-pumping motorcycle pursuit through the streets of Malta, a horrifying underwater scenario, and more than a few dramatic moments with some new and terrible dinosaurs. The stunning visual effects that bring these moments to life make them even more remarkable. Colin Trevorrow deftly blends actual effects, like as animatronic dinosaurs, with CGI to create one of the most visually striking and astounding movies in recent memory.
One of the most frustrating aspects of the earlier Jurassic World films was their apparent disinterest in the frightening components that made the original so memorable. While both Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom had harrowing moments, the films felt more intent on being enjoyable popcorn flicks than scary monster pictures. I'm pleased to inform that this is no longer the case with Jurassic World Dominion, as Colin Trevorrow has created some very horrifying and violent scenes for this film. It's not precisely a horror film, but it will undoubtedly frighten the younger (and older) audience members.
Jurassic World Dominion is yet another Jurassic Park sequel that falls short of the original, but with some genuinely awesome dinosaur action, enough nostalgia to satisfy die-hard fans, and an amusing enough cast, there's no doubting that it's a tremendously great day at the movies!
